Meet our Staff

Mike has been the director of We Need a Law since its launch in 2012. In 2018, he also became the Director of Advocacy for ARPA Canada, which oversees the We Need a Law campaign.

Mike has had a lifelong interest in politics and the protection of human life. He has written and spoken across Canada about the need for legislation protecting pre-born children’s right to life. His ultimate goal is the recognition and protection of all pre-born children.

Tabitha serves as legal counsel and media spokesperson for We Need a Law. Based on Parliament Hill, she regularly meets with politicians, media and pro-life stakeholders, gives presentations to various groups, and prepares draft laws and policy recommendations reflecting our mission.

Tabitha graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, following a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University. She is passionate about seeing the human rights of the pre-born recognized and protected by law.

Anna is our writer and editor. Along with our press releases, blog articles and newsletter, she has written for the National Post, Windsor Star, Vancouver Sun, Life News and other media outlets. She writes with a goal of changing the hearts and minds of Canadians so that all will recognize and defend the right to life of pre-born children.

Elyse supports the We Need a Law campaign as our administrative assistant. She sends out regular communication to supporters, directs media inquiries, facilitates speaking engagements, flag displays and meetings with Members of Parliament, and is generally the first person you hear from if you contact us.
